Author Interview Nguyen Duy AUTHOR Nguyen Duy was born in 1948, in Dong Ve village, Thanh Hoa province. He has published ten collections of poetry, three collections of memoirs, and a novel. Among his many awards are the poetry prize of Van Nghe in 1973 and the poetry prize of the Vietnam Writers' Association in 1985. He lives in Ho Chi Minh City.
